OXYMED Health Devices Limited (“OXYMED”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

This is the single, current version of our Privacy Policy and replaces any earlier version published on this site.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, postal address
  • Order and billing data: billing/shipping address and order details (payments are processed by Stripe – we do not store full card details)
  • Enquiry data: information submitted through contact, quote or rental enquiry forms
  • Marketing preferences and consent records
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4)

3. How we use your data and our legal basis

Under Article 6 GDPR, we only process personal data where we have a valid legal basis:

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

A cookie is a small file placed on your device that helps a website function and understand how it is used. We use the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies – required for the website to function (e.g. security, load balancing). These do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) – help us understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on site, general location). Data is pseudonymised and retained for no longer than 14 months.
  • Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) – help us measure the effectiveness of our Facebook/Instagram advertising and build audiences for future campaigns. Retained for up to 180 days, subject to Meta’s own retention policy.

When you first visit oxymed.ie, a cookie banner asks for your consent. You can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose your preferences by category – each option is equally easy to select. You can change or withdraw your preferences at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer. Consent is refreshed periodically (at least every 6 months).

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only with third parties who need it to provide services to us, under a data processing agreement, or where required by law:

  • IT hosting and website support providers
  • Payment processor: Stripe
  • Courier/delivery partner for chamber sales and rental logistics: EuroCenter
  • Email marketing platform: FluentCRM
  • Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics)
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel)

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (for example to Google or Meta), we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data remains protected.

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal

These rights are exercised free of charge (unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive) by writing to info@oxymed.ie. We will respond within one month, as required by GDPR.
